V0.6.02 (February 4, 2025)

New game features

- Added a noise blip that emits periodically from hostile NPC parties to give players some idea that an enemy party is in an area at a certain time

-- The ping currently happens every few game tics with a random offset

-- Pings occur wherever the enemy party is at the time, even if the map fog for that area has already been cleared. Pings do not follow the party's movement, concealing the enemy's movement direction.

-- The pings scale up and fade away based on real time since it was emitted and is sped up if the game speed is above the base level. When the game is paused, the pings still grow and fade, though very slowly.

-- Some hostile NPC parties have this behavior disabled such as those on world maps that have no map fog

New game content (quests/writing/art/etc):

- Added custom artwork with facial expressions for Myalari. Art is by silververity.

- Slightly expanded some dialogue in Willow by the Waves companion quest to set up Willow's next companion quest

- Added two new alchemy ingredients, Moon and Stars Lilypads and Hydra-Sail-Me Mushrooms, found by rivers

- Added recipes to craft brief potions for all the adventuring status

- Added The Healthy Scholar's Guide to Amateur Alchemy, The Romantic Rogue's Guide to Amateur Alchemy, and The Naturalist Priest' Guide to Amateur Alchemy books that teach how to brew the brief adventuring potions

- Added a couple reminder choices for the Fort Veronica gate in the case of the party having insufficient funds to pay the entrance fee

Miscellaneous:

- Refactored music system slightly to allow for seamless looping on selected tracks such as the dollhouse waltz theme

- Books that teach recipes now list them on the item mouseover data. Any recipes that are already known are indicated as such.

Bugfixes:

- The item sort and filter buttons should now appear behind the item tooltip window instead of in front of it on the inventory panel

- Bugfix for player being unable to set the deploy tile of allied feral aggressive units

V0.6.01 (January 31, 2025)

New game content (quests/writing/art/etc):

- Updated the Dollhouse music theme. In the future this will be changed to seamlessly loop indefinitely as originally intended

Miscellaneous:

- The levelup panel now also shows a list of each companions' base and bonus points for each combat or adventuring attribute, making it easier to tell at a glance which attributes have been invested in and by whom

-- This panel shows companions that are not currently in the party, just as long as they have ever joined

-- When leveling up up a companion, the player's stats are also shown in the same area.

- Added some tooltip mouseover bubbles over some campaign customization settings to go into more detail on how some of them work.

- Made some changes to battlefield camera when in follower party mode (activated by pressing F)

-- Selecting a battle entity moves the camera to focus on them

-- Any time a battle entity begins their turn, the camera snaps to them

-- When a battle entity moves, the camera focuses on their destination tile

-- At the start of a each round, the camera moves to the battlefield "center of mass", the average x,y position of all remaining battle entities

Cheat/Debug controls (patreon-backer builds only):

- Added ability to assign the player or a selected companion a specific status effect on the party debug panel

Bugfixes:

- Bugfix for player's health and lust not being tracked in save / loaded games, making the player always appear to regain full health and lose all lust

-- Migrating any older save game file from V0.6.00 or earlier will set the player's stats to full health and no lust, but further save game files should track the correct values again

- Bugfix for camera snapping to bottom-left of battlefield when in follower party mode

- Made combat ability full view panel wider to reduce the likelihood of text overlapping

- Bugfix for Form Trait initiative percent modifier effect being treated as a base value instead of a percent modifier
